Scroll down to bottom to see his wife and childrens information.Notes: Jacob was from Pennsylvania. Chances are he was from Scottdale. Probably
I do know from what my Grandmother
told me is that Jacob was a "general" farmer ....
and that he may even have been
in the military.
In the photos that I have in
my possession I can see photos of him when he is much older
and my Grandmother was a small
child. So this tells me that he must have passed away
after these photos were taken
I found a newspaper
clipping, could have been Jennie's, or Belle's (Jennie's daughter),
it is about changing the gregorian
calendar to recognize the peace treaty creating the
new world. (19teens) Read more
about the world in this time period and Woodrow Wilson.

Scroll down to bottom to see children
Notes: Jenny's family was
financially comfortable. She may not have been an Anderson!
She could be Jenny Williams.
According to my Great Uncle Meredith Remley ...says
Williams and Andersons lived
close by and were best of friends ... Jennie was said to
be illigetimate ... I have pictures
of Williams and Andersons both in this pile of photos.
Also said to have Irquois Indian
Blood in our family, going back 2 generations from
Jennie. This would be about.....1820.The
children appear to have been a bit on the
wild side. Their son Harry had
shot a man while in a tavern in Buffalo, NY.
There
residence was from Buffalo,
NY, and St. Louis. Cora Belle (Jenny's daughter) refers
to Jenny in photos as "Nannie"
Jenny moved around Pennsylvania,
especially Pittsburgh, I have found many a few addresses
on her (in this stack of photos/papers).
From what I gather from my family, Jennie lived on
Mazer Avenue.
Jenny appears to have been an
avid follower of remedies, I have found many articles that she
clipped from publications or
remedy books. Apparently she also read fortune/tarot cards
because I found those in there
as well.
I found an envelope,
guess it was never sent. It is to First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt. Jennie's
return address is RD 7 Box 255,
Bellevue, PA. (1933 +)
